It certainly is getting to be a ridiculous world. The politicians are fond of saying how they are going to improve the lot of the poor, the "Under
Class" as they are called here and of the pensioners but not once do they ever put a cap on the profits of those that are bleeding the consumer dry.

Look at the price of fuel. They are now saying, quite sensibly, that no one should have to pay out more than 10% of their earnings on house hold fuel. Yet not
once has it been...

Ghee whiz it is here the same to!!!!!! The politicians give themselves a decent raise yet the pensioners get a few bucks a fortnight and they are suppose to
live of that and be happy and content.

Banks scream poor yet when the end of financial stuff comes out they still have millions in profit.

The refugees get more money from the government here then the people who worked hard for many years.

Everything is going up and up in price so I suppose we all need to...

Oh, now guess what. I have just checked what my pension forecast was when I applied for one 3 years ago - and depending on if my circumstances changed from then until now (which they didn't) - They are paying me less pension that I am entitled to. Now why doesn't that surprise me.

Funnily enough my Sister and I were talking about this yesterday, and as we said, they still never gave me a reason as to why it was stopped like that.

We wondered if they got my insurance number muddled up with someone who has perhaps died, and put a stop on it. and it wasn't until I rang "several
times" they chased up their mistake. I can see absolutely no other reason that a stop would be put on a pension.

Typical! Another example of British bad attitude to basic rights that we've paid for all our lives - just coz it's a state scheme, they think it's
OK to mess up. if a bank didn't pay monies out when due, they'd be crucified.

Rofl @ Martha. I honestly don't blame you. Sometimes we have to take drastic action to get their attention.

As for me being patient Portia, the only reason this was because I am one of the lucky pensioners that don't have to rely on the pension being paid in dead
on time. Having said that. I didn't let them know that I didn't need the money urgently. As far as they were concerned I was in desperate need for the
cash.

got so bad that I actually took my kids into their office and told the person behind the glass wall that he could take my kids home and feed them, after which
I turned around and walked out leaving the kids standing there.
It's the whole attitude of them assuming one has the time to wait for them to get it right as ones banks account is getting lower.

There are some old people out there that have no extra money and no one to borrow from. Many others that had gone without a pension being paid for 3 weeks

knowing why though.

Ok, the government pension is my right. It's not something that I am claiming. It's a pension that I have paid in for all my life. It's a set
amount that I am entitled to. Even if I'm continuing to work, I am still entitled to my pension. No if, but, or maybe. It's my money. So please
tell me how the heck it can be stopped being paid to me.

On Monday the 8th of June I checked my bank account only to find that my pension had not been paid in. No worries it...
